What is access to work?
Access to Work is a UK government program that provides funding and support to help disabled people overcome barriers at work. It can provide financial assistance for things like equipment, adaptations to the workplace, or support workers to help disabled individuals perform their job duties. Access to Work funding is available to both employees and self-employed individuals who have a disability, long-term health condition, mental health condition, or learning difficulty that affects their ability to work. The program is administered by the Department for Work and Pensions and is designed to help disabled people achieve their full potential at work.
